Within the wide-ranging and interdisciplinary domains of the school, AHM particularly excels on national and international levels in five research areas (‘themes’) that cross and connect the fields of heritage, memory studies and material culture.
Research at AHM is carried out in some more than thirty research groups. The research of each research group relates to one or more of the five research themes of AHM. Below is the list of AHM research groups:
For the valorisation of their research, researchers of AHM are engaged in networks, partnerships and private and public organisations in the field of heritage and memory studies, and material culture.
